200 Free Things for the Kids to Get
Coupons and samples and "BOGO's" are not the only freebies out there! Here are 200 things that you can get for the kids for free or just postage. Some have to go via USPS mail, but have the kids "fill out" the envelope and learn how to "mail a letter". Check them all out and you might even find some that are good gifts or stocking stuffers!
This is also a good "rainy day" activity and the kids might enjoy learning how to do something that people did in the "olden days"!

Got Kids? Feed them for free!
Got kids? Feed them for free! Can't beat that dish! Check out your state/town and see what is there for you!
Kids Eat Free
And here's a tip: Order a side of flour tortillas (about 50 cents) and then fill them with the re-fried beans that come with most adult meals. Whola. . . You now have bean burittos for all the kids. Some restaurants will give you tortillas for free, which then turns this into a "Kids Eat Free" deal.

Another Great Week for Freebies and BOGO's
I have listed 2 new places to get free samples and coupons. My Savings is a literaly treasure trove! The Sweeper - there are good ones there, but make sure you read the offer - some you have to buy something else. Those are a definate "don't do" in my book - but you decide for yourself!
Plus, check out the sites where you can print coupons at home and use them right away! Don't need to wait for sunday ads or for them to come in the mail. Remember, coupon fraud is now a big thing with grocery stores, so make sure you cut them nicely and don't fold them on the bar codes. Often if the bar code won't scan, they will assume it is fraud and often won't accept it. Keep them nice and neat!
Here's what I got FREE or BOGO this week! BOGO is "buy one get one" free, so for food - that means a free meal or 2 half priced meals!
$52 - I saved $52 at Bed Bath and Beyond! I had coupons for 20% off any single item. BBB is fantastic in that they allow you to use multiple coupons at once, if you have a coupon for each item you buy AND they don't bother with expiration dates! I had 10 coupons, some even expired, and they took them all! I bought 2 sets of sheets, 2 pillows, a bath rug and several more things - when my receipt was handed to me, I see my total and it showed I had saved $52 by using the coupons! And all on things I needed!
Free - 2 Huggies pull ups (I have a 2 yo that uses them!)
Free - 2 samples each of shampoo/conditioner = Pantene Burnette Expressions
Free - 8 oz. Cascade Clear Rinse Aid
Free - A coupon booklet came with a sample with a total of $51 in coupons. Won't use them all but will many!
Free - Blockbuster Video - free movie in the month of july
Free - 2 samples of Tide New Scent laundry detergent
Free - Gillette Men's Body Wash - 2 oz
Free - H.E.Buddy T-shirt - my Grand daughter read 10 books and gets a free t-shirt from this reading organization
Free - I Can Read book - my Grand daughter read 8 books and got a free book at Barnes & Noble
Free - Dove Pro Age Body Lotion 2 oz
BOGO - Weinerschnitzel coupon - chili dog. Eat them both at the same time or one for lunch, one for dinner!
BOGO - McDonald's - Mc Flurry - coupon. Took my 2 grand daughters for a treat!
BOGO - Carl's Jr coupon - Prime Rib sandwich - had one for lunch and one for dinner!
Other save money "things"
I bought some things for my hermit sand crabs and by taking the short survey on the phone that was listed on the bottom of the receipt, I got $3.00 off my next purchase. Which is good as I forgot to buy them new shells as they grow and a shell is $3.00! So I get a free crab shell!
I got 2 more of hte Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons - These are $10 off a $30 purchase which is better than the 20% - these are 30% off!
And now the sunday paper is here and I can grab the Walgreens ad and see what's on sale there, then go to different coupon sites and see if they have a coupon for the same product - Walgreen's allows you to use a manufacture coupon on their sale items! Double the savings!
Good luck to everyone this next week. I know I have lots of free samples coming in the mail! Hope you do to!!!

Freebie Sample Express Comes to Town!
Freebies and Samples - we hear it all the time, but did you know that these freely offered freebies and samples can actually help reduce your grocery and personal needs bills? Shampoos, conditioners, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodarants and more! You don't really think about those things being costly as they do last a long time after you buy them, but if you can get them for free - wouldn't you rather? Then add up all that you spend on these types of products and at the end of the month, you will see a nice little chunk of money in your savings...or your grocery budget staying the same, but being able to buy more!
My motto "Save a little to save alot"
I have come into some great places to get freebies and samples online. Also coupons - print them right there and have them ready to go. I spent probably a gallon of gas this past sunday searching for a place to buy a newspaper to get the weekly coupons and didn't even need most of what was there. So the lightbulb finally clicked on and I have found several places in the last few days that have online coupons. I can pick what I want and print out only those. Also, a few web blogs that talk about couponing, have coupon printing sites, have freebies and samples to request. I also watch sales and such and buy for my kids - they each have a little one and money is tight for them too, so if it is something I can get for free....if I don't need it, I will get it anyway and give it to them.
So I begin sharing web sites that offer free samples for your simple request. None of them have any fees or charges. Most are just give them your mailing address so they can send the sample to you. Some you can join (for free) and they will send you email when they have new offers. This way helps so that you don't have to keep checking back every week...when they have a new offer, they contact you! You might want to set up a seperate email address for this kind of thing. It might not be something you want to deal with every day and with its own email address, you can check periodically at your convenience instead of wading through them all when you don't have time.
And go into this with the understanding, you won't get rich quick. Give yourself a month to "collect" your stock and then just move on from there. And also, "save a little to save alot" - you might be just saving $8 this month on hair products and that in itself is not much to bother with, but if you do this with ALL things you buy or even most things.. the little savings add up to alot at the end of the month.
Kind of like if you save a dollar a day, so what? No big deal. But if you look at it as a monthly savings (instead of daily) you'll be saving $30 a month and that is alot!
So here we go - book mark them and check back weekly. Or book mark my blog Coffee Break Whatever Freebies and I will be updating as I find things.
Dove.com You don't have to register to get the sample, but sometimes if you do, they'll send you emails when they have new things avaiable. Dove.com has free samples of a lot of their hair care products and lotions and soaps. The samples are usually a one use packet of shampoo and conditioner. That means you get a professional, name brand shampoo treatment for free! Which means on less hair wash you have to pay for! Get 15 free samples throughout the month and you get a months free hair washes (providing you wash you hair every other day.) That's one bottle of shampoo and one of conditioner free every month.
I'll be adding more as I find them...Keep checking my side bar over there for places to visit.
